Hi there and welcome to the Sola Bazaar blog!

I am so happy that you found your way here. I created this blog to be able to share more about Sola Bazaar with you. Sola Bazaar was founded in 2019 by me, Sophie Jung, where I wanted to create a community of women supporting women, through jewelry. I believe that we are stronger as we act together. Jewelry is something so beautiful which you may carry with you for weeks, months or years, being able to wear a piece for a long time as it carries memories and feelings or matching and combining it with your mood, dress or state of mind.  The Sola Bazaar pieces are here for that and we decided to take it even a step further because when you do carry a Sola Bazaar piece, you will know for certain that your purchase has helped women in need in India. It is intended that all our pieces are made in India, based on my design done in Switzerland. More about this in future blog posts.

The name Sola Bazaar came up as a homage to the original Bāzār from Persia, with this came the inspiration to let you find hidden gems, loved belongings and long-lost materials which have been given a meaning.

Especially, Gemstones carry a lot of metaphysical symbolism, healing properties, powers, and spiritual meanings. Allow them to carry you through different moon phases, moods and days in your life. 

Did you know that Amazonite will help you harmonize your motivations by bringing the truth to light without emotionality and allowing one to see another point of view? Or that the Green Aventurine aka Lucky Talisman or Stone of Opportunity is valued because of its good luck properties.

Believing in the healing properties of gemstones has already been carried out by ancient Egyptians and, in the view of Sola Bazaar, make any jewelry piece so much more beautiful.
